A Heart Garden for First Nations Children
Students in grade four middle immersion teamed up with their grade six counterparts to craft paper hearts with special messages of respect to commemorate the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. Grade six students practiced their French skills and guided the grade four students along as they made beautiful orange paper hearts. Students then got together to plant their heart garden in front of our school. This experience taught us that kind gestures bring us all together.
