Introducing Knowledge Carrier Eric Flett
Eric Flett is a traditional Indigenous Knowledge Carrier from Ebb and Flow First Nation, Manitoba. He enjoys sharing teachings and drumming with people of all ages. Eric will be joining us at NMC throughout the year to share songs and teachings and learn together in a safe and respectful space. We are looking forward to learning with Eric, and we hope everyone is excited to learn about Indigenous history, ceremony, drumming, clan systems, medicines and more!
On the days that Eric is with us, students will be excused from class to join in this learning. Tomorrow, Thursday, October 22, Eric will be joining us to secure the hide to the big drum and students are invited to join. Please let Ms. Adair-Gagnon know if you would like to join.
