Strategic Action 4.2: Active Transportation
Expand safe, active, and equitable transportation to and from school.
Connecting our Communities
We've added new school bus routes to connect growing neighbourhoods with their designated high schools and to transport students to Practical Arts facilities.
Infrastructure & Safety
We're making it safer to walk and bike to school by installing new crosswalks, adding flashing beacons, and running traffic awareness campaigns. We also continue to support our crossing guard and walking school bus programs, and ensure bike storage is available at every school.
What We've Accomplished
